DESCRIPTION: Balcony and deck additions are the main features of this project. An encroachment permit was required from NDOT to reconstruct the east balcony into the U.S. 395 right of way. Finish materials were selected to replicate materials depicted in old photographs of the existing 1880's exterior. The project has received national recognition with an article in the New York Times.
