DESCRIPTION: The clients goals included capitalizing on the 270 degree views from the site, providing a design that was compatible with the 10% sloping lot, providing passive solar energy concepts and natural cooling, and incorporating a two story library reminiscent of a library from the client’s youth. The client was fascinated with the exterior themes of the Cycladic Architecture of the Greek Islands and wished to incorporate those forms into the design.
