DESCRIPTION: This 1911 structure has been in continuous use as a community center for Carson Valley residents. The addition consists of ADA restrooms, kitchen and Town of Minden offices. The addition was designed to resemble an adjacent storefront building to harmonize with the street scape along the downtown Minden corridor. A Community Development Block Grant was used to finance the elevator & restrooms.
