KOREAN WAR MEMORIAL

DESCRIPTION:  A memorial park was designed to honor the Korean War Veterans from Nevada. Four rocks circle the memorial plaque and flags representing the four mountain peaks that the Nevada Marine unit fought to defend. Rose of Sharon, the national flower of Korea, was used as a backdrop for the memorial setting. Benches and dedicated brick pavers accent the site as well.
